A SLIVER OF SUN

I know it is supposed to be cloudy all day today but the sun has slipped through the clouds and fog and if we are very quiet and respectful, maybe it will  stay awhile.

We were outside for a very long time. And when we came inside to nap, Ari asked Father to go for a walk.


 

Mia just wanted to be outside.

Izzy conked out in her crate.


And Raven took her nap on me!!!





The sun is beaming outside and we keep asking to be outside with the sun.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
