THERE IS LOVE

Ari is bonded to me. She is happy now that she can lick my face and clean my ears again and I let her because I know it is her way of saying  "I love you"  Raven looks up to Mia especially for guidance but I think she is bonded to Mother more than any one  else.  But Mia and Izzy have a  special bond.


They are always fussing each other and touching each other in a way that says, "there is love"
We all need some one who loves us no matter what, when we are happy or sad, angry or mad.

Some one who can just be near you  to  make you feel-  There  is love.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
