When it is scorching hot in the wee hours of the morning, it makes me wonder how hot it will be in the afternoon sun. We have all learned to take it easy in the hot hot heat of the summer but it was never this hot for this long so early in the summer sun.
It is best to lay still in the shade and listen to the wind and birds and all the sounds of summer.
Of course, what really makes us happy is being in the cool house, taking it easy and napping.
Or watching by the kitchen door.
