It was so very rainy all day that we all hunkered down in our cozy beds to sleep it all away. But little Darlyn did not know what to do. Being so young, she did not understand why everyone was so sleepy and why she could not play outside.
When Mother took Darlyn outside, she was fascinated by the rain drops and the puddles and the swirls of debris.
Darlyn did not want to stay outside in such rain. So it was inside play which is not very entertaining to a nine week old puppy.
In the afternoon. when the sky brightened up and the rain was just a veil of mist, Mother and Darlyn went outside again. Darlyn found Mamma Mia's favourite blue ball and made the best of it.
Darlyn found a leaf on the way but decided the ball was more fun.
I don't think Darlyn minded the rain one bit.
