ONE MORE DOG SHOW DAY


 It was another very early morning day when we had to stay home and wait while Auntie Lois, Mother, Father, Ari and Mia went away in the car. The sun was strong enough to burn off all the fog and They were back  in no time to tell us about the dog show. Mia went into the ring first and came out with a Blue Ribbon!

She is  really loving the ring!



It was hot but the show  was moving along quickly!
Then Mia went back into the ring with so many other beautiful girls.


Then it was Ari's  turn and she really loved working in the ring! All the people around were clapping for her- even the judge!

Then Ari had to go into the ring with ALL the other boys and girls that won the day- so many many beautiful puppies!




And she came out of the ring with a second ribbon while everyone cheered. Ari was smiling ear to ear to ear.
It was a very good day.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. THE BEANS FIRST VET VISIT

It was early in the morning when Mother and Father loaded the Beans into the crates in the car and headed to the Doctor's place. They were put into a big tub and waited for the Doctor to come into the room. They were very good except for pooping in the tub. First up was Hope. She checked out  and got her microchip and her first shot. Oh and they each got some stinky cheese from a can. Dusty was up next. Onyx was next- she did not mind getting her eyes and ears checked out. Sunnie was next- she really liked the vet tech who was very gentle with all the puppies. Ali was next- none of the puppies cried when they were jabbed. Prince was an absolute sweetheart. Midnight loved the stinky cheese the most. The puppies went right outside in the warm sunshine. Mia was so glad her puppies were home I am secretly glad they are back too. The beans napped for a few hours Everyone kept watch over them. Until it was lunchtime and they ate nearly everything. THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I can honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still.
