THE PATIO MORNING


We spent the morning on the patio while Mother watered the plants. A lot of the plants are dead from no rain and Mother is a bit sad because they  are gone forever.
We like to sit on the patio and watch Mother work. Darlyn always finds something to bring Mother.

I enjoy surveying all aroundme.
I think Ari is the same.
Under the table is a nice shady spot too.
Even with the dried dead grass, it is a very nice garden.




And when Father comes home, we get treats.

Izzy always begs forthe pool or for a walk.
When the day is done, we rest.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
