FROM THE INSIDE OUT

 

Mother said the storms are coming and we should be outside as much as possible he was outside with Uncle John working on the pool deck.
 
Mother lets me watch the Littles through the kitchen door.

Lilibet decided she wanted to fetch the blue ball today. Usually it's Vikki who wants to fetch.



I guess they both like the blue ball.

Ari and I prefer to watch them from the inside out.
But they are gentle with me when  I am outside.
Izzy takes  over  when she is outside.
She watches over me too.
And when Raven isn't  worried about me, she snuggles up against me.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
