FIFTEEN AND ONE HALF

 

Mother said it is my half birthday so I guess i am fifteen and one half years old. My sister Lily is the same age in the place where Darlyn now lives.  I know I am old and I feel how old I am every day but every day I am with my family is a good day. Liibet  and Vikki are getting more comfortable playing inside the house.


There really isn't a celebration for a half birthday though we did get chewing bones all together.
Mother spent more time with just me too. I know she loves me and I just want to be with here all the time.


Mia just wants to feel the cool floor on her belly.
I follow Mother to where she teaches so I can be by her side.
I am not sure how many more days I have- but I am happy to spend them here.

ROCKSTAR DUSTY'S TRIUMPHANT RETURN!

  It started a couple of weeks ago when Mum and Dad took Dusty to meet Auntie Nadine at a rest stop. Dusty never looked back and we all wished  her happiness. Her first show with Auntie was in Maryland- far away from us. She got a special ribbon like I did and Izzy and Raven too!  WE were all very happy about that! But on the second show that weekend- Dusty did better then any of us here! She won her class then won best girl! Then won best of Winners. THEN Won best of Breed! We were all over the moon happy for her!   Even her picture makes her look like a rock star! We were all so excited that we wanted to scream with joy! They all went in the RV again to Delaware for more shows and she won again! And again- Four points in total! Mum and Dad left very early in the morning and drove for a few hours to be able to watch Dusty in the ring and bring her home. When she saw Mum- she got so excited that she jumped all around! RING RING RING!

All is calm, all is quiet until the Ring bell goes off! It used to be the door bell but now we ignore that sound from the television but when the Ring goes off! we are right there to see who is at the door! And  because not many people  come to visit anymore, We know they are packages for us! Mia always asks Mum if  There were any new kongs in the boxes... Or chewing bones perhaps? Raven likes to snuggle Mum by the fire to wait for the next Ring! Izzy just waits by her side. Ciao for now my friends...

SAD SAD DAY

No matter how much Izzy begged, Mum and Dad went ahead and closed our pool. It was a sad morning thinking we would have one last swim. It was hot and sunny and still the flowers bloomed. And we played  chase with each other. Izzy was sure we could go into the pool. But when we were told to go inside and come outside again, the pool was covered for the long winter's nap.
