TO BE QUIET AND BE COOL

The heat and humidity makes us all want to stay cool and quiet.
Except of course- if you are a puppy.
Ari likes to sing to the clouds.
And Vikki is as mischievous as her mother Mia.
Raven has the best spot in the house, on the bed and under the fan.
Mia's belly is huge.
We still want to go outside of course but only in little bits of time.
Ari still looks out for me and takes care of me, making sure I am not too hot.

We all hope to get out into the pool but Mother says it will storm.
We all need days like these- to be quiet and stay cool.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
