JOY AMONGST THE GRIM

Auntie Gwen came to cut the beans nails again but first she had to fuss me! Mia was busy with her beans so Auntie was all mine.
 
The puppies had a grand time playing after their nails were cut. it's good to find some joy amongst the grim.


Well, most of them anyways.
They love to play with their toys.
Raven snuggled her mama Ari because the weather is still grim.
We are  all pretty tired of this grim weather. But at least we can find some joy to brighten our days...

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
