ICE BALLS SNOW AND SUN-OH MY!

How can it feel like Spring and winter all in one day? We had ice balls in the morning and lots of wind before the sun came out and started melting the snow.
Izzy was ready to go out into the sunshine.

I just wanted to go out to pee....
We napped  until the sun warmed the air.

Mother took Dusty out to play while she did poop patrol.
Fetch was on the agenda.


And of course, there were treats involved.



But having the chance to sunbathe was priceless.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
