GRAND MAMAS DAY WITH DUSTY

Dusty loves spending time with Mother on her own.
She always finds things to play with.

It takes her away from always playing with me.
Father left the back door to the coop open and Snowy decided to go for a walk about but she was ready to go back inside once Mother was outside.
Then Dusty came outside too.

Dusty  played fetch with Mother


Then Grand mama Arabella joined them outside.
Dusty loves playing with her grand mama!

They both like to play with each other even though Ari will soon be eleven years young.

They love to sing together too!

Dusty is even a bit taller than her grand mama!

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. Dusty keeps asking Mother when the skies will stop crying. But I don't think  it will stop any time soon.   May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE BEANS FIRST VET VISIT

It was early in the morning when Mother and Father loaded the Beans into the crates in the car and headed to the Doctor's place. They were put into a big tub and waited for the Doctor to come into the room. They were very good except for pooping in the tub. First up was Hope. She checked out  and got her microchip and her first shot. Oh and they each got some stinky cheese from a can. Dusty was up next. Onyx was next- she did not mind getting her eyes and ears checked out. Sunnie was next- she really liked the vet tech who was very gentle with all the puppies. Ali was next- none of the puppies cried when they were jabbed. Prince was an absolute sweetheart. Midnight loved the stinky cheese the most. The puppies went right outside in the warm sunshine. Mia was so glad her puppies were home I am secretly glad they are back too. The beans napped for a few hours Everyone kept watch over them. Until it was lunchtime and they ate nearly everything. THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and Find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I ca honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still. Mother gave us chewing bones before she went to school. Souris wrote her blog and slept on all the rugs that Mum and Dad put on the floors to help Souris not slip.
