ALL BEFORE THE WORK BEGAN

We had to hang out again because the boys were still working in the kitchen. Mum had us outside with chewing bones.
Dusty spent some time in her pen.
But we had our run of the house early  before the boys came to work.

Of course puppy Dusty spent time alone with mum.

Mia loves the feel of the kitchen floor on her tummy.
And we wanted to help Mum have her snack in the den.
Mia made sure Mum knew she was not happy that none of the snack was shared.
But then she forgave  her. All before the work began.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
