A LITTLE BIT OF SUNSHINE

Image
Dusty I think, is happy to be back home with us. She and her Auntie Izzy seem to have missed each other very much. Everyone. even Raven are happy she is back home with us. She makes the days full of sunshine from within us. Mum gave us chewing bones amonst the leaves all around us. It gets hard for Mum to do poop patrol from beneath the leaves. I think Dusty  enjoys the freedom of our back garden. But I know she misses the show ring too. I loved the show ring. It is wonderful that we have our little bit of sunshine back home. Ciao for now my friends...

DUSTY'S HOMECOMING

Image
Mia badgered Mum and Dad to go get Dusty and finally they were off! Auntie Kathy and her crew were already back and Dusty was resting in the RV. Mum was the first to get to the RV and Dusty came out, said hello to Mum and then wanted to go right back in. When Mum said they were going home and Dad arrived behind her, Dusty new her adventures were over for the week. She was happy to go home. She was so ready to be back in the pack. And to be a puppy again. Everyone greeted her with wags and sniffs and even Raven was so happy to see her again. And she came home with Multiple ribbons Then settled into her favourite spot on the sofa. She thanked Mum for her wonderful adventure and was ready for the next one. Ciao for now my friends...

SO NOW WE WAIT.

Image
The leaves are nearly all down now but without the rain, the grass is nearly dead. We waited all day for Dusty to return and make our days full of sunshine again. Mum and Dad were working around the house before  they could pick Dusty up from her travels. We hung out together waiting. Dad was outside with Mum cutting the last of the summer plants and also trimming the huge lilac bushes  by the double gates. Our big red tree is still holding onto  it's bright red leaves until it decides to let them go. Raven is anxiously waiting for Dusty to come home. I have never seen her like this. I suppose it's because all the puppies who have left us and have not come back. Just Izzy and I know that she will return. So now we wait. Ciao for now my friends...

LEAVES LEAVES LEAVES!

Image
The days might be extremely warm  and the daylight is dwindling and with Dusty away, it is very quiet. WE have chewing bones and fusses and walkies and Mum and Dad. The winds were wicked and a lot of the dead, dull, leaves danced off the trees and into the winds . It was a sight to behold. Raven was not so enthralled with the leaves. And Mia picked up her kong before the leaves could swallow them up. She really wanted Mum to fill it for her. I think we need some rain really soon. There are just too many dried up leaves. Ciao for now my friends...

WAITNG FOR THE RETURN

Image
The house is so very quiet without Dusty. All we want to do is nap the hours away. Raven watches out the window in case Dusty returns or Margot comes to play. And Mia snuggles her puppy's toys- waiting. The leaves are falling faster these days. Mum says she's glad that they are early so we can clean them up faster too. Izzy doesn't like the fact that it is so hot outside and the pool is not open. she tells Mum that just about every day now. Raven too. Mia just looks out into the garden wishing to see her puppy again. THe good thing is Mum feels sorry for us and gives us treats. And then we nap. Dusty is doing well in her shows and we are happy about that but we will be happy when she returns.   Ciao for now my friends...
