The leaves are nearly all down now but without the rain, the grass is nearly dead. We waited all day for Dusty to return and make our days full of sunshine again.
Mum and Dad were working around the house before they could pick Dusty up from her travels.
We hung out together waiting.
Dad was outside with Mum cutting the last of the summer plants and also trimming the huge lilac bushes by the double gates.
Our big red tree is still holding onto it's bright red leaves until it decides to let them go.
Raven is anxiously waiting for Dusty to come home. I have never seen her like this.
I suppose it's because all the puppies who have left us and have not come back. Just Izzy and I know that she will return.
So now we wait.
