THE LUCKY DOGS

We have been lucky with the weather here although there has been very little rain and all the plants are dying, there are other places that Mum says have lots of rain and too much rain and wind.
We are lucky too that we have a family that loves each other- most times and takes care of each other sometimes too.
Mum and Dad always takes care of us!
Izzy lets the puppies share her chewing bones all the time. Dusty learns to share from her.
And she makes a wonderful pillow too.
I love the lumpy crate bedding the most.
And raven's itchy skin gets better by the day.
Dusty and Dad nap together on the sofa and we all know that we are safe.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. Dusty keeps asking Mother when the skies will stop crying. But I don't think  it will stop any time soon.   May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I can honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still. Mother gave us chewing bones before she went to school. Souris wrote her blog and slept on all the rugs that Mum and Dad put on the floors to help Souris not slip. MAMA MIA'S PUPPIES POOL DAY REUNION

Dusty was a bit sad in the morning because Mum said  the puppies were coming and that most of us had to stay inside.  Izzy the swim instructor and super Aunt was allowed into the pool. Vikki and brother Cody were first to arrive with their families and then Lillibet came to join in the fun! Three of Mia's second litter all in one place! They did not miss a beat! Cody learned to swim here last year but he was hesitant with the new deck and steps. His Dad said that Cody did not like the water but he saw everyone else in the pool having fun! Everyone cheered when Cody got  up the courage to swim- then dive into the pool! His Daddy was there to help him navigate the steps but in no time he was a pro! Lillibet and Vikki cheered him on as well. Mum was so happy to have them back together. I think Lillibet was confused that she was back in her old pool. Vikki was back to dunking everyone with her paw. Izzy just kept diving in the pool. Izzy said everyone had so much fun. I Ciao for now my
