PLACES TO WAIT



I did mention how quiet it was without our little Dusty.
But even the quiet is- well- quiet.
We lounge around and wait for news.
Mia enjoys having the freedom to sleep by the warm fire.
She doesn't like to be disturbed.
And Raven likes the comfy chair.
I either jump up on the sofas or sleep on the bed underneath the TV.
Izzy likes to snuggle wherever Mum or Dad are sitting.
If it gets too hot, then Mia moves to the comfy chair.
You can tell on her face it's her favourite place to be.

ROCKSTAR DUSTY'S TRIUMPHANT RETURN!

  It started a couple of weeks ago when Mum and Dad took Dusty to meet Auntie Nadine at a rest stop. Dusty never looked back and we all wished  her happiness. Her first show with Auntie was in Maryland- far away from us. She got a special ribbon like I did and Izzy and Raven too!  WE were all very happy about that! But on the second show that weekend- Dusty did better then any of us here! She won her class then won best girl! Then won best of Winners. THEN Won best of Breed! We were all over the moon happy for her!   Even her picture makes her look like a rock star! We were all so excited that we wanted to scream with joy! They all went in the RV again to Delaware for more shows and she won again! And again- Four points in total! Mum and Dad left very early in the morning and drove for a few hours to be able to watch Dusty in the ring and bring her home. When she saw Mum- she got so excited that she jumped all around! SAD SAD DAY

No matter how much Izzy begged, Mum and Dad went ahead and closed our pool. It was a sad morning thinking we would have one last swim. It was hot and sunny and still the flowers bloomed. And we played  chase with each other. Izzy was sure we could go into the pool. But when we were told to go inside and come outside again, the pool was covered for the long winter's nap. ROCKSTAR DUSTY'S SECOND BIRTHDAY BASH!

It was a lovely day here at Wombleshyre. Our beautiful Stardust is now two years old and though she is still our baby, she is also ion her way up in the world. Gifts awaited us and of curse, chicken. Dusty knew exactly what was going on. WE all did. We were all very patiently  waiting. Very patiently. Then after our chicken and kibble, we waitied for Dad to get all the gifts and treats to us. It was a lovely birthday celebration! Ciao for now my friends...
