CADIE IN THE HOUSE


Dusty and her daughter Blueberry love to watch the TV at night. Funny, I never wanted to watch tv myself but my puppies all like it.
Blue had no idea in the morning that  her sister Cadie (formerly known as Corn) was making her way for a visit.
The rest of us knew we would be swimming again on such a hot, sunny morning.

Then Cadie and her father Bob came to swim and Blue and Mia were so happy!

Dusty checked Cadie all over in the pool.
And Blue swam from one float to another.
Of course everyne but me got into the pool.

Everyone had fun.


The two muffins got rinsed off and  had water and dried in Dusty's pen.

 

Eeryone else got rinsed off and dred too.

Then Mum , Dad and Bob and the muffins headed out to the boat.
Blueberry is an old pro now.

I was a lovely evening cruise.

Cadie even settled in.


Back home Mum tasked me with making sure Cadie did her business before her long journey home.

Then the muffins said their "See you laters" before Cade and her father left for home.

We were all very happy and very tired to say the least.

Now that eyes, ears and toes are open and firmly on the ground, Mum and Dad thought to introduce the muffins to the world. First up is our big yellow boy named OATS. He is a love bug that loves to cuddle. Then a little boy named BRAN-DY   He loves to explore  all the toys in the box. PEAR  is a lovely little girl who really likes her milk! And sister CORN who loves to keep the peace. APPLE  is our bollo girl and she takes after her grand mama Mia. CHIP  is a very inquisitive little boy but very sweet. BLUEBERRY is a sweet little girl with the brightest eyes. MINI  is such a cute boy who loves to nap on his siblings.   And last, but not least we have our big boy RAISIN. THE UNEXPECTED

Most days and nights you can pretty much know what to expect. Especially around dinner times and snuggle times and morning chews. But when it comes to puppies, they dictate your every moment. And Dusty's muffins were no different  We all knew it was nearly time for the muffins to appear but we were not expecting it so soon. Dusty took it in stride, she was calm and collected- much more than Mum and Dad although they knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it.  It was expected of them, until it was not. And off to the doctor's they went. We had chewing bones while we waited for news. It turned out that Dusty needed a bit of help- like I needed. Everyone was so helpful with the little puppies! There are five boys and four girls. Three yellows and six black and we are so excited that they are finally here! Dusty seems to be taking it all in slowly.  Let the adventures begin. SAD SAD DAY

No matter how much Izzy begged, Mum and Dad went ahead and closed our pool. It was a sad morning thinking we would have one last swim. It was hot and sunny and still the flowers bloomed. And we played  chase with each other. Izzy was sure we could go into the pool. But when we were told to go inside and come outside again, the pool was covered for the long winter's nap.
