Mornings With Moula

Spring is one of our favourite times of the year. So many things remind us of the magic of life. We can spend hours tasting the grass and the air in the sky for all the new flavours of Spring. Dusty got a taste of a bug and I don't think she liked it. Spring brings lots of light into our little world. There is sunshine everywhere. I am happy that it is also my birthday week. I can't wait to taste my steak dinner! Dusty looks so much like her mama Mia . Most of Mia's puppies look like her. Raven is doing a great job bonding with Dusty now that Souris isn't here. Dusty also reminds me of my Sou Sou. I hope we can always taste the sky. especially in the Spring. Ciao for now my friends...  

It's still dark in the mornings when we wake. I miss Souris's voice fist thing in the morning, making sure Dad did not forget her in the room with the fire . Izzy now  takes Souris place waiting for breakfast. And when the sun comes up, Dusty does what a water dog should do and plays in her water. Izzy sits and stares at the pool. Wishing to get into it to dive. We spend our days together- always.   And most are trying to figure out where they belong three weeks after Souris left. Dusty knows her place and respects her boundaries. I have the weight of our worlds on my shoulders. I will find my way. Dusty knows how to look beyond her limitations. She is full of hope and wonder. I guess we should all be like Dusty. Ciao for now my friends...

Mia loves her kong. she is always ready for Mum or Dad to fill it[ with yummy treats. Raven and Izzy always seem to pair p on the big bed. Mum got three new chicks last week because Ollie got sick and went away. Their names are  Kaki and Olivia and Mocha! They joined the other chicks after being on their own for a bit. Moula and Souris always said to look up to the sky. I thought it was to scare away the big birds that might take away our chickens. But I must admit that the sky and the trees are quite beautiful. I always thought they were like us in ways I cannot describe. I love the flowers of the Spring. They remind me of Souris. Mia and Raven keep watch of the little chicks. They make sure everyone is getting along. Izzy was so excited to see the boys open the pool! The water was crystal clear like the sky and Mum was so happy! I especially love the morning sky, I do not have to look up for that but it warms us as we have our chewing bones And it was a miracle that Aussie laid a...

New weeks are always new beginnings for us  as it should be for everyone. There are lots of new things happening in and around our house. New flowers and new painted walls and new decking for the pool. New experiences for my grand dog Dusty. Dusty really loves the ittle dogs. Even when they bark at her. Izzy is busy dreaming of swimming in the pool  for the new season. And Dusty keeps getting new responsibilities in our house. But she is still in training. I keep my eye on her. Raven needs to snuggle a lot. She loves to snuggle Mum. Dusty loves to sit in the comfy chair and watch the television. And watch Mum too. It was Raven's turn for the prewash of the dishes. Father was home to see about the opening of the pool. And of course there were chewing bones. And of course, Mia had to have her Kong. Ciao for now my friends...
