INTO THE SUN

It is so very cold outside but the sun is very nice.  I think we would like more snow but  the last snow seems to be lasting a long time in this very cold weather.
Mia is always  the first to arrive at the top of the back garden where the sun warms the most.
We all follow behind and find a good spot to sitin the sun.

We do this several times a day so that Mum has to stop what she is doing to let us out.
And let us back in again and out again and in again. It might seem like we are always out but we love it.
Dusty had a day off from showing and got to run along side her new friends in Sunny Florida. It seems like we all do the same thing wherever we are.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
