AND THEN IS SNOW

It was a quiet day but a very cold day and we took it easy while Mum and Dad prepared for the morning.
In the car went Mia and Dusty and off to the health clinic.

 It was quiet there- even with so many beautiful dogs of all shapes and sizes inside the new place we go to see the Doctors. The good  ad great news is that Mia and Dusty passed their eye exams and Miss Dusty passed her heart exam as well. Mum was so happy!

The rest of the day was quiet too and we woke up again to snow!
Mum made us go out and lay in the snow because she said it would all melt away again.

We love the snow.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
