THE SAME OLD THING

This winter is kind of boring here. Not so many visitors or trips besides the vet. The weather is kind of yucky too.
Dusty chats with Carnaby and Robyn about better days before she was alive.
So many snow storms that made us play happily in the snow.
Or warm , sunny days that reminded us of Spring.
Even Mia is bored of the same old thing.
Mum makes us wait fr chewing bones until the sun comes out so we do not bring in so much mud on our feet.

 Oh,  but we love the chewing bones.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
