THERE STILL BE ICE

Even though the sun is warm and the air is pleasant, there is still tons of ice around. This was the season of ice and soon to be the season of mud!
We don't mind the ice or the melting of the ice.
Dusty seems to get the muddiest but I think it's because she is yellow.

Rave just wants to have the pool open.
The towels on the kitchen floor are always very dirty now.
And we are always up for walkies.
Always!
We will wait for the ice to disappear and hope no more ice will come our way.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
