Mornings With Moula

It has been thirteen weeks since Mia and her brothers wiggled into our lives. Jaxon and his Uncles had a great Holiday together. And Fagan had a  wonderful Holiday too. Time flies  so fast! It makes my head spin! The sun was out  all day and so were we- in the back garden because Mother said it will rain tomorrow. But first- w had to Nap in the  morning sun that streams in through the windows.... Mother took us each for a walk in the sunshine and Izzy saw Auntie Sandy next door. Mia and Ari took advantage of the warmth from the sun. As Izzy and I looked on..... I spent some of the afternoon guarding the kitchen  door and Mother would look out the door and smile at me. Little Mia is excited to go for her training walks with Mother. She walks all the way to Uncle Bill's house- but she stops at Auntie Dolores's house and looks into the door longingly ever since Auntie gave her those yummy bone treats..... ...

It was another sunny day- for the most part anyway. Mother and Father were home again and we had another round of bones and cookies to keep us happy. Little Mia adores all of us but she especially looks up to her  mother Ari. Ari teaches her how to play with us and how to be gentle with people like Mother and Father. Ari I tend to tolerate Mia but it is no secret that I love her. Me- Ari and Mia Mia tries to imitate everything her Mother does and to credit Ari- she does not jump up and down the high wall in the back garden as she usually does- because she knows Mia will try to do the same And to her credit- Mia is so smart that she knows to use the steps instead of jumping off the wall. I suppose  I will have to teach Mia all about the ways of living in this home- for now I would like to tell her all about her Auntie Moula. May your days be filled with peace my friends.....

Mia sat with eyes wide as Izzy told her about the day we get lots of presents and treats.... She could not believe it until Mother and Father gave her the run of the house and started to give out all the toys that were on the table. Some, like the bones were from Mother and Father. Others like ALL the toys were from Mother's students and Auntie Jacqui and all our other Aunties and Uncles! The only thing missing this year- was Moula. She had to play with every toy first. Mia was so excited that she could not just stick with one toy. Mia tried to play with all the toys but there were so many!!!! Even Ari got her puppy on- and played with the toys. We had so much fun playing in the house together. Father was in charge of giving out the toys... Mia is tall enough to reach the table now - she was so excited to get a chewing bone! And then  we got more toys!!!!!! ...
